Award winning singing voices, beautiful flows of hair, certain body parts, or maybe even a gleaming smile; many celebrities have insured certain personal assets for millions of dollars.
So which celebrities have expensive insurance policies on their most prized possessions?
1.) Troy Polamalu, the safety for the Pittsburgh
Steelers, has his long black flow of hair insured for
$1 million by Head & Shoulders. Polamalu’s contract
with Head & Shoulders has placed him in many
commercials showcasing his long, insurance-protected
hair.
2.) Heidi Klum, a former Victoria Secret model,
has her legs insured for about $2 million. According
to Klum, her right leg is worth more than her left leg.
“They would look at them and I had one scar here
from when I fell on a glass, so this (left leg) isn’t as
pricey and this (right) one,” Klum told Extra, a TV news show.
3.) Rod Stewart, a British singer/songwriter, has his
award-winning voice insured for $5.5 million. When
your singing ability is one of your main sources of
income, you can see why Stewart would make sure
his voice is protected.
4.) Gene Simmons, popular performer for the rock band,
Kiss, is known for his signature move of sticking his tongue
out on stage. Simmons tongue which is rumored to be
surgically lengthened was insured for $1 million when
Kiss was in its prime.
5.) America Ferrara, a TV star in the show Ugly Betty,
has her sparkling smile insured for $10 million. Ferrara
is a promoter for Aquafresh, and the company paid to
make sure the actresses beautiful smile is protected.
