Fire crews were quick to respond to the fire that occurred at 2501 Church Street on Tuesday, April 15th in Stevens Point. The kitchen fire at Little Caesar’s pizza caused damage to an oven and ventilation system. However, the Stevens Point Fire Department was able to put out the fire and nobody was injured in the fire.
Little Caesar’s is located right next to our office in Stevens Point. There was quite a bit of commotion going on in the parking lot outside of our office after police responded to the fire around 11:43 am. Luckily, the fire department was there very shortly and was able to prevent the fire from growing any larger.
Volunteer firefighters and EMS/EMT providers are skilled at what they do and work hard to protect our communities. When fire strikes, they drop whatever they are doing to respond in a timely matter. Thanks to them; many homes, businesses, and people are protected from the horrendous effects of fire. When the fire broke out at Little Caesar’s on Tuesday, it reminded us of the importance of fire crews in our community.
