Are you worried you won’t be able to make the big bucks because you didn’t attend a four-year college? Have no worries, because there are many careers out there that provide a substantial salary and benefits, such as Wisconsin health insurance.
Ultrasound technologists can earn around $68,200 per year and require either a two-year degree or completion of a one-year program with prior healthcare experience. Not to mention all the joy an ultrasound tech will have while showing expectant parents the first images of their child.
Another healthcare profession that does not require a four-year degree is a dental hygienist. This position can earn around $66,300 per year after finishing a dental hygienist’s program and passing national and state licensing exams.
Although we’ve only presented two careers in this blog post, there are many other careers out there that do not require a four-year degree. College is not for everyone, so you shouldn’t feel discouraged if you choose not to attend. Do some research and you may soon find yourself bringing home large paychecks!
