The Friends of Waupaca Parks is a non-profit organization that is involved in several local fundraising efforts. They fund youth program scholarships, park improvements, equipment, and programming. They are also currently working on an informational presentation, along with other local organizations, that will educate the community on the dangers of heroin use. The public presentation will be held at the Waupaca High School on Monday, March 2nd from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
