Bring on the caramel apples and pumpkin pies—fall is officially here! One of the best parts about fall is the fact that there are so many different ways you can decorate your home. A few of our employees here at Community Insurance shared some fall decorating tips and recipes with us that are sure to get any home in the fall spirit!
Gail from out Stevens Point and Waupaca offices:
“My kids were never fond of frosted cutout cookies, but I do have two recipes I’d make in the fall that didn’t need frosting and they loved them: Honey Spice Cutouts and Autumn Leaf Cookies (click the links for the recipes). This is also the time of year I enjoy baking with cranberries. One of my newer favorite recipes is for Double Oat Cranberry Pecan Muffins (click the link for the recipe).”
Mandy from our Stevens Point office:
“I love this Web site for Halloween, especially with kids. Some of the stuff on this Web site is from the site Eerie Elegance, which is also an awesome site.”
Melissa from our Stevens Point office:
“I like picking up mums in the fall and putting them in extra planting pots that I didn’t use during the summer. I also love baking and cooking using all the harvested produce that is so great and fresh during this time of year. This recipe for Pumpkin Bars is always a favorite, and Zucchini Cake is also a good choice. I’m not a coffee drinker, so I look forward to fall to break out Williams-Sonoma’s Mulling Spices so I can mix up some apple cider to enjoy on chilly fall mornings.”
Sam from our Stevens Point office:
“I put glitter on anything I can get my hands on—not even pumpkins are safe from my glitzy wrath. I like buying small, foampumpkins from the dollar store and using glue to add glitter so I can reuse them each year. I also love these little guys which I found on Pinterest, which has TONS of ideas for autumn decorations.”
