It’s the second Wednesday of the month, and that means it’s time for another golf tip from our agent Phil! This time of year is great for golfing; the weather is cooling off and the leaves are changing colors, creating a golf environment that anyone would enjoy.
Phil’s tip this month is a simple one:
“PRACTICE PUTTING“
Phil says,
“About 40-50 percent of the strokes in a golf score come from putting. Most golfers give this very important part of golf the least amount of attention.”
Even if you can’t get out to the course to practice putting, there are many other ways for you to perfect your putt. You can shell out some cash for at-home practice putt areas, or a cheaper option would be to pick up some artificial turf and create your own practice putt area.
An at-home practice putt area will also allow you to practice putting throughout the cold Wisconsin months. Your putt will be perfected by the time spring golf weather rolls around!
How much time do you spend practicing your putt? Do you plan on working on your putt skills over winter?
