The warm temperatures in our area the past few days reminds us that summer is right around the corner. And along with summer comes much-anticipated music festivals. Music lovers across the midwest will flock to Wisconsin and surrounding states to sit back and enjoy their favorite artists.
Wisconsin has a lot of music festivals to offer, which can mean a lot of time spent on the road, in traffic jams, and in crowded parking lots. Before you hit the road to jam to your favorite musician, make sure your car is protected with a Wisconsin auto insurance policy. You wouldn’t want to leave a concert just to experience car trouble and not have any protection!
After you make sure that your auto insurance policy is protecting you, check out the music festivals that our state has to offer. One of the most well-known festivals is Summerfest, located in Milwaukee. This festival spans 11 days, attracts over 700 bands, and is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year!
For an event that’s a little closer to our area, check out Country USA, which takes place in Oshkosh. This festival will take place from June 19-23 this year and features- you guessed it- the biggest names in country music. If you’re a country lover, you might want to opt to stay at the campground for this festival, located conveniently right at the festival site.
The same site that hosts Country USA will also host Rock USA, which is a relatively new music festival and will last from June 12-14 this year. The campsite will also be open for this event.
For the younger generations, there’s Lollapalooza, which takes place in Chicago and features alternative, punk, hip hop, and other genres of artists. This event will take place from August 3-5, but tickets are selling out quickly!
Wherever your music tastes lead you this summer, make sure you are protected with a Wisconsin auto insurance policy!
