The Waupaca Community Art’s Board is a diverse group of volunteers that are committed to blending art into peoples lives every day. They value the importance of art and believe, “artistic expression will realize economic benefits, engage youth, enrich our living environment, and stimulate creative thinking.” That is why they thrive on providing art opportunities to the Waupaca community.
This weekend (May 3rd), the Waupaca Community Art’s Board will be hosting an event, “Bloomin’ Palettes”. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own painting from a blank canvas. Sharon Radley, artist, will be walking you through with step-by-step instructions. As you are painting, enjoy some wine and indulge in a variety of hors d’oeuvres.
Tickets are still available by pre-registering at Embellishments in Waupaca. The tickets are $45 and include all supplies, hors d’oeuvres, and a glass of wine. Also, everyone leaves the event with their very own painting.
Bloomin’ Pallettes will be held at the Historic Soo Line Railroad Depot at 525 Oak Street in Waupaca. The event starts at 1:00 pm and goes until 4:00 pm.
This event is a relaxing way to enjoy your Saturday afternoon. Stop by the Bloomin’ Palettes event to expand your artistic horizons this weekend. Also, check back with the Weekend Beat every Friday to find out what’s going on in your area over the weekend.
