The upcoming holiday weekend in Central Wisconsin means that there is going to be plenty of events to keep you and the family very busy. We have two fun events that you should definitely check out this weekend.
Let start in Waupaca, where you will find The Peeps© Show, which will be going on until May 24th. Visit the Waupaca Area Public Library where you will find the sugary marshmallow treat turned in to works of art. This exhibit features Peeps turned into interesting dioramas. This event is fun for all ages and the perfect way to get excited for Easter weekend. The exhibit is open during regular library hours which you can find on the Waupaca Area Public Library website.
Also, if you are looking for your own fun way to display Peeps– check out our Peeps cupcake recipe here.
Next, on Saturday, April 19th you can visit Stevens Point Easter Egg Hunt at Pfiffner Pioneer Park. Located on the Wisconsin River, this Easter egg hunt is the perfect way to spend your Saturday morning. The egg hunt is for children ages 0-8 and begins at 10:30 am. The egg hunt is free of charge and is sure to be a great time. In the event of rain, the egg hunt will be held at the Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH). Pfiffner Pioneer Park is located at 1100 Crosbey Avenue in Stevens Point, WI.
However you decide to spend your weekend, make sure to make it great. Check back to our blog every Friday to see what’s going on in the area in the Weekend Beat.
