Things are happening in Waupaca County this weekend. The Horse and Buggy Days Parade and Festival are on Saturday, September 20th in Weyauwega, WI. There will be an old-time parade, hayrides, pool tournament, live music, art demonstrations, a teen dance, and hometown talent performances.
Beginning at 11 am, a double elimination semi slot pool tournament will take place in the beer tent set up on North Mill Street. The cost to join the tournament is $20 per team in advance and $25/team on the day of the event. There will be a 100 percent payout to the winner of the tournament. While playing or watching the pool tournament you can also enjoy J&L Entertainment’s Lisa until 5 pm.
The horse and buggy days parade begins at 1 pm. The parade will begin at the fairgrounds and proceed through the downtown area in Weyauwega. Following the parade, Main Street will be closed down for a variety of activities. There will be a “Kid’s Corral” set up in front of the Coffee Klatsch. Also, don’t miss out on the cheese curd eating contest at 3 pm in front of JK’s Lounge & Restaurant.
Following all the activities during the day, the band “Third Wheel will be playing in the beer tent from 6 to 9 pm. Don’t miss out on all the fun that’s happening at the Horse and Buggy Days in Weyauwega this weekend.
