It is the wonderful time of year again in Waupaca County, it is time for the annual New Dublin festivities in New London. The New Dublin St. Patrick’s Day Grand Parade and Irish Fest will be on Saturday, March 21st.
Beginning at 1:00 pm in downtown New London, the grand parade will take place. This is Wisconsin’s largest St. Patrick’s Day parade featuring extensive lineup of bagpipe & marching bands, festive clowns, specialty units, clans, business floats, and more–up to 125 units or more. Get to the parade early so you get a good spot. Here is a parade map so you can scope out the perfect spot to see the parade.
The New Dublin Irish Fest begins at 11:00 am and run until 6:00 pm on Saturday. The huge tent by Festival Foods will be rocking out all day to the sounds of two Irish bands. Traditional Irish food, beverages, and market booths will surely provide hours of fun.
Following New Dublin Irish Fest, a free shuttle will be running around the New London area from 6:00 pm to 3:00 am. Do not drink and drive this St. Patrick’s Day, review these safety tips to refrain from the dangers of driving while impaired.
