This weekend in Waupaca you can visit the Ice Age Trail and experience a 2.5 mile spring flower hike. This event is open to the public, free of charge and is a great way to get out and experience all the beauty that the Waupaca area has to offer.
Meet at the DNR parking lot by turning south on Foley Drive between Amherst and Stevens Point. Follow Foley Drive for 1.4 miles until you see the DNR parking lot. Keep watch for the Ice Age Trail event signs that will be located along Foley Drive.
The hike begins at 9:30 am. Remember to bring your camera to capture some of the beautiful sights along the hike. Also remember to bring a water bottle to keep yourself hydrated.
We hope you have a wonderful weekend and if you get the chance, explore the Spring Flower Hike in Waupaca. Check back here every week to see what’s going on in the Weekend Beat.
