The Lettie W. Jensen Community Center in Amherst is frequently bringing in a variety of concert performers. The community center supports the arts and enjoys bringing cultural, social, academic, business, recreational and health-related activities to the community. This weekend, Tomorrow River Concerts will be presenting Michael Smith on Saturday, November 15th.
Michael Smith, singer and songwriter, has been writing songs for decades. His songs range in variety and you will find it both entertaining and engaging. Tickets to the concert are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students. If you would like to pick up some tickets they are available at the Stevens Point Area Co-Op and Kindred Spirits Books in Stevens Point. They are also available at Bookcellar in Waupaca and the Jensen Center in Amherst.
This season is the 20th annual year of the Tomorrow River Concert series. On Saturday, January 17th, Ken Lonnquist will be performing. Next, on February 21st, L J Booth, Randy Sabien, Chris Kokesh and Mach Buckman will be performing in the 20th anniversary show. Anne Hills will be performing on Saturday, March 21st. Finally, on April 10th, David Stoddard, Karen Mal and Laurie McClain will be performing.
