A few weeks ago, we gave you a brief introduction to Twitter. Hopefully those tips helped and you are (at least somewhat) Twitter savvy. Today our goal is to introduce you to some Twitter users you may find interesting.
- Local businesses. From the Point Brewery (@pointbrewery) to Adventure212 Fitness (@adventure212), more and more local businesses are opening Twitter accounts every day. Businesses often tweet about deals and upcoming specials so following them is a great way to get ahead of the game.
- News outlets. Many local and national news sources use Twitter not only to deliver news to their followers, but also to receive feedback from the public. The Wausau Daily Herald (@wausauherald), WSAW (@WSAW), and CNN (@CNN) are just a few of the many news outlets on Twitter.
- Teams and athletes. Do you ever wonder what your favorite Packer player does in the off-season? Following him and your other favorite athletes on Twitter gives you the chance of seeing what they are up to. Some Wisconsin teams and athletes on Twitter include the Packers (@packers), the Milwaukee Brewers (@Brewers), the Milwaukee Bucks (@Bucks), and Aaron Rodgers (@AaronRodgers12).
This brief insight barely scratches the surface of the range of Twitter users you can follow. Don’t forget to follow your Wisconsin insurance company (@Community_Ins) and tweet us with any comments or questions!
