This past month we have been running a contest at Glacier Wood Golf Club of Iola. The contest involved people coming up with slogan ideas to be printed on new divot fillers. We had several entries and picked three winners, the slogans were printed, and they are now printed on the divot fillers that Community Insurance & Associates donated to the golf course.
The first place winner was Judy Morey with the winning slogan, “Coverage for you and the golf course.” Judy, along with the other two winners, play at Glacier Wood Golf Club on Wednesday mornings.
Marge Steinke was the second place winner, her slogan is, “Fulfill your role, and fix that hole.”
In 3rd place, Susan Andrae, who will return to playing on Wednesday mornings once she returns from Sarasota, Florida. Susan’s slogan is, “Divot repair because you care!”
